The Senate and Alumni Boardrooms are available for faculty and staff to book through the Enterprise Space Booking system for large scale meetings, conferences and workshops. If any student clubs or societies wish to book one of the rooms, the request must be emailed to procurementservices@carleton.ca directly from the respective student organization.

These rooms are primarily available during the regular University business hours of 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday. While you are free to reconfigure furniture in the room to suit your needs, it is your responsibility to put the furniture back to its original configuration after your event. Please see below for the layout and capabilities of each room.

Senate Room (RO 608)

  • Maximum capacity of 55 people;
  • Equipped with AV equipment. An HDMI cable and a device are required;
  • Furniture layout;
  • All University policies are applicable.

Alumni Boardroom (RO 617)

  • Maximum capacity of 25 people;
  • Not equipped with any AV equipment except a pull-down projector screen. You will need to bring in your own equipment if AV is required for the event;
  • Furniture layout;
  • All University policies are applicable.
