Effective May 1st<\/sup>, 2022<\/h2>\n

Like other universities in Ontario, Carleton University will suspend its proof of vaccination requirements for participation in in-person Carleton activities beginning May 1, 2022.<\/p>\n

As has been the case throughout the pandemic, the evolution of the virus and public health conditions are difficult to predict, so this decision is contingent on current conditions and directions continuing. We will adjust our plans as required by these evolving conditions to ensure everyone\u2019s health and safety and to comply with public health advice or any applicable legal requirements.<\/p>\n

Although proof of vaccination will no longer be required starting May 1, it may become necessary to bring back proof of vaccination requirements on short notice if the situation and public health advice changes. All suppliers and contractors engaged in business with Carleton, in particular, those that are planning to visit or conduct work on campus are encouraged to\u00a0attest to their vaccination status<\/a>\u00a0and if vaccinated, to upload proof of vaccination and subsequent booster doses in\u00a0cuScreen<\/a>. Should the University reinstate its vaccination requirements in the future, any missing attestations and proof of vaccination may prevent you from delivering your services. We strongly recommend that any personnel or subcontractors assigned Carleton University contracts or services be vaccinated. The University will not be responsible for any costs, delays or failure to provide services due to inadequate compliance with any vaccination requirements that may be in effect from time to time.<\/p>\n

We strongly recommend that all suppliers and contractors engaged in business with Carleton get a full course of vaccination, including booster doses as soon as they are eligible, and submit their booster dose information in\u00a0cuScreen<\/a>\u00a0as soon as possible.<\/p>\n
