I will be recommending to the president the appointment of an Interim Dean for the 2018-\u201819 academic year and we will reconstitute a committee to begin a new search later this spring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I want to express my sincere gratitude to the members of the search committee and the chair, FASS Dean Wallace Clement, who put so much dedicated time and effort into this search. Although their efforts did not end with the announcement of a new dean this year, they are to be commended for their valuable contributions to the process.
