He has also been designated as a Carleton University teaching fellow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/cognitivescience\/people\/davies-jim\/\">Jim Davies<\/a>&nbsp;(Department of Cognitive Science) was honoured with the Excellence in Blended and Online Teaching Award for his exceptional impact on student learning in blended and online environments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/biology\/people\/jenny-bruin\/\">Jenny Bruin<\/a>&nbsp;(Department of Biology),&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/akcollege\/people\/marylynn-steckley\/\">Marylynn Steckley<\/a> (Arthur Kroeger College), and <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/geography\/people\/david-hugill\/\">David Hugill<\/a>&nbsp;(Department of Geography and Environmental Studies) have received the New Faculty Excellence in Teaching Award for the energy and excitement they dedicate to their teaching.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No applications were received for this year\u2019s Excellence in Learning Support Award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please join us in congratulating this year\u2019s winners!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Learn more about the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/teachinglearning\/awards\/internal-awards\/\">teaching awards available to Carleton faculty, instructors and support staff<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Teaching and Learning Services and the Office of the Provost and Vice-President (Academic) are pleased to announce the outstanding educators who have been named 2020 Carleton University Teaching Award winners.
