These awards recognize your accomplishments and dedication to excellence in research and teaching.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please consider taking time to apply for an appropriate award. You can also encourage your colleagues to apply and, for awards that allow, support a colleague\u2019s application by writing them a letter of support to include in their dossier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"available-awards\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Available Awards<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Five $15,000 <a href=\"http:\/\/lists.carleton.ca\/t\/376537\/2582380\/9961\/2\/\">Teaching Achievement Awards<\/a> (applications are due Oct. 31).<\/li><li>Ten $15,000 <a href=\"http:\/\/lists.carleton.ca\/t\/376537\/2582380\/3290\/3\/\">Research Achievement Awards<\/a> (applications are due Oct. 31).<\/li><li>Five $10,000 <a href=\"http:\/\/lists.carleton.ca\/t\/376537\/2582380\/6767\/4\/\">Professional Achievement Awards<\/a> (instructor applications are due Nov. 20).<\/li><li>Two $10,000 <a href=\"http:\/\/lists.carleton.ca\/t\/376537\/2582380\/6768\/5\/\">Professional Achievement Awards<\/a> (for professional librarians). Nominations must be made to the Peer Evaluation Committee, which must submit its selections to the University Librarian by Nov. 20.
