It is an opportunity to celebrate the valuable contributions of Canadians with disabilities, as well as a time to recognize the efforts of those actively working to remove barriers to access and inclusion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As we celebrate National AccessAbility Week 2025, it is our pleasure to share&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/can01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com\/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fgraduatestudies.cmail19.com%2Ft%2Ft-l-gnukz-tikkcge-r%2F&amp;data=05%7C02%7CLindaHartwell%40cunet.carleton.ca%7C1f959594d4314c1791ac08dd9c66deec%7C6ad91895de06485ebc51fce126cc8530%7C0%7C0%7C638838687843576052%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJFbXB0eU1hcGkiOnRydWUsIlYiOiIwLjAuMDAwMCIsIlAiOiJXaW4zMiIsIkFOIjoiTWFpbCIsIldUIjoyfQ%3D%3D%7C0%7C%7C%7C&amp;sdata=uTE6PQ%2BLuDYNLwhBBc4YdS6vfE8aIsGk58pamXnkmfo%3D&amp;reserved=0\">Carleton University\u2019s renewed Coordinated Accessibility Strategy<\/a> (CAS). This refreshed strategy guides the implementation of accessibility initiatives at Carleton and acts as a catalyst to drive our culture of accessibility. It was developed after several months of&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/can01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com\/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fgraduatestudies.cmail19.com%2Ft%2Ft-l-gnukz-tikkcge-y%2F&amp;data=05%7C02%7CLindaHartwell%40cunet.carleton.ca%7C1f959594d4314c1791ac08dd9c66deec%7C6ad91895de06485ebc51fce126cc8530%7C0%7C0%7C638838687843598351%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJFbXB0eU1hcGkiOnRydWUsIlYiOiIwLjAuMDAwMCIsIlAiOiJXaW4zMiIsIkFOIjoiTWFpbCIsIldUIjoyfQ%3D%3D%7C0%7C%7C%7C&amp;sdata=zvXi%2BslHweZmNHCaGbjI2qkc5KcRjiovrHGKyk3TIKc%3D&amp;reserved=0\">comprehensive consultation<\/a> and represents the diverse voices of our community, including those with lived experiences of disability. We have made&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/can01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com\/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fgraduatestudies.cmail19.com%2Ft%2Ft-l-gnukz-tikkcge-j%2F&amp;data=05%7C02%7CLindaHartwell%40cunet.carleton.ca%7C1f959594d4314c1791ac08dd9c66deec%7C6ad91895de06485ebc51fce126cc8530%7C0%7C0%7C638838687843618013%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJFbXB0eU1hcGkiOnRydWUsIlYiOiIwLjAuMDAwMCIsIlAiOiJXaW4zMiIsIkFOIjoiTWFpbCIsIldUIjoyfQ%3D%3D%7C0%7C%7C%7C&amp;sdata=EJWF119Mmijlc2kUdSn6IK%2FF3nL6iHgfOziKkvY0ckg%3D&amp;reserved=0\">significant progress since the first CAS launched in 2020<\/a>, but there is more to be done. This renewed strategy guides our ongoing commitment to a campus that is accessible and inclusive for all.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We would like to thank everyone who provided feedback throughout this process. Your input was invaluable in shaping the renewed strategy.
