Funded by the Office of the Provost and Vice-President (Academic) and administered by Equity and Inclusive Communities, the award provides funding for students to engage in faculty-supervised research projects that use EDI-informed considerations and reflect upon diversity and identity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students from all Faculties are invited to submit a proposal for an EDI-related research project that they will pursue from May 1 to August 31, 2026, in collaboration with a faculty member. A letter of support from the supervising faculty member is required as part of the application process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Two student awards are available, one undergraduate and one graduate, each valued at $10,000. Award amounts are inclusive of 4% vacation pay and research costs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong class=\"myprefix-text-bold\">The application deadline is March 23, 2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additional details, including project eligibility and application instructions, are available on the <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/provost\/awards-funding\/student-edi-research-awards\/\">Provost\u2019s website<\/a>.
