Course Description/Instructors Statement

This course is designed as an introduction to organizational psychology, focusing on the scientific study of healthy work. The specific concentration will be on individual well-being, safety and mistreatment at work, which are prevalent concerns and current issues of discussion. In this course we will examine theory, principles, legislation, and issues involved in healthy work. We will also focus on the identification and application of organizational and psychological principles that influence people’s health at work.

Evaluation

Evaluation in this course will be based on in-class participation, oral presentations, written assignments, and group work.
