Dr. Synthia Guimond\u00a0is\u00a0an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychoeducation and Psychology at the University of Quebec in Outaouais and in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Ottawa. She is also a scientist at the Royal\u2019s Institute of Mental Health Research (IMHR) and the director of the\u00a0Cognitive Remediation and Neuroimaging laboratory. The main goal of Dr. Guimond\u2019s research is to develop evidence-based treatments to improve cognitive dysfunctions in psychiatric disorders, and ultimately, enhance patients\u2019 social and professional integration.
