He is currently pursuing a degree in Social Work while working as a <strong class=\"myprefix-text-bold\">Case Manager<\/strong> with <strong class=\"myprefix-text-bold\">Ottawa Salus<\/strong>, supporting individuals with complex mental health needs through community-based services.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"not-prose cu-quote cu-component-spacing\">\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;<strong>Try a few avenues, don&#8217;t be afraid to go around and dip your feet into different fields. Life is unpredictable, just take the moments as they are and just do the things that are scary. You don&#8217;t grow in comfort.<\/strong>&#8220;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<h4 id=\"brief-description-of-what-i-do\" class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-left\"><strong><strong class=\"myprefix-text-bold\">Brief description of what I do!<\/strong><\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>I work in case management and my main focus is on housing and supporting those with substance use. I alongside with seven other partners, work in the mental health domain aiding people&#8217;s well being .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 id=\"what-inspired-your-career-path-after-graduation\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong class=\"myprefix-text-bold\">What inspired your career path after graduation?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Initially, I was in education as a <strong class=\"myprefix-text-bold\">Behavioral Therapist \/ Special Education Assistant<\/strong> and later went into teaching. Overtime, as much as I loved education, I wanted more for myself and use my psychology skills on a bigger scale. I decided to make the leap of faith and try social work. And I&#8217;ve loved it ever since.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 id=\"how-did-your-experience-in-the-psychology-program-shape-your-journey\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong class=\"myprefix-text-bold\">How did your experience in the psychology program shape your journey?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>It shaped me in developing what my passion is; which is now in social work.
