After completing her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a Minor in Neuroscience and Mental Health in 2019, Corrine went on to earn her MSc in Neuroscience from the University of Ottawa in 2022. She now works as a Business Analyst<\/strong> with Access Mental Health and Addictions<\/a>, where she contributes to improving mental health services through her expertise.<\/p>\n\n\n

Brief description of what I do!<\/strong><\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

I analyze data to establish reporting standards and monitor for system issues within the data. I evaluate program processes to identify and provide solutions for inefficiencies. I provide technology support for frontline staff and act as a bridge between development teams and operations teams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What inspired your career path after graduation?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

After completing my Master’s, I continued working as a Research Assistant in the same lab. A few months later, I was recommended for a Data Analyst position in this program and applied. Over time, my role as evolved into a Business Analyst position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How did your experience in the psychology program shape your journey?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The psychology program provided me with excellent foundational skills in research methods and statistics that were instrumental in setting me up for success in my earlier role as a data analyst.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What skills or experiences were most valuable after graduation?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The experience of data processing and analytics during my thesis project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What has been a highlight or proud moment in your career so far?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n
