Our&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/psychology\/faculty-staff\/faculty-listing\/\">faculty<\/a>&nbsp;and students conduct cutting-edge&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/psychology\/research\/\">research<\/a>&nbsp;in a variety of fields, including cognitive, developmental, forensic, health, organizational, personality and social psychology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;Master of Arts&nbsp;(MA) program allows students to gain the essential tools to conduct empirical research, while the&nbsp;Doctorate&nbsp;of Philosophy&nbsp;(Ph.D.) is strongly research-oriented and emphasizes hands-on training.
