I have a Bachelor\u2019s degree in Science (Education), Master\u2019s Degree in Information Theory, Coding and Cryptography obtained at Mzuzu University and a Master\u2019s of Science Degree in Mathematical Sciences obtained at African Institute of Mathematical Sciences in Tanzania.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Research Interests and societal interests<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>My research interests include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Modelling of infectious diseases<\/li>\n<li>Effects of climate change on infectious diseases<\/li>\n<li>Societies understanding of climate change to reduce spread of infectious diseases<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Expectations as a QES Scholar during the Mobility Period<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To deepen my understanding on the causes and effects of climate change<\/li>\n<li>To explore cost effective ways of mitigating climate change<\/li>\n<li>To gain more understanding on how climate change contributes to transmission of infectious diseases<\/li>\n<li>To establish networks and collaboration with other scholars and Carleton community<\/li>\n<li>To participate in climate change community outreach organized by Carleton University<\/li>\n<li>To learn hands-on activities in my field of study<\/li>\n<li>To gain understanding on Canadian culture and how they deal with infectious diseases<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The QES Project and Advancement of your Career<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I hope that the QES project will advance my career by:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>improving research writing skills<\/li>\n<li>Improving analytical skills<\/li>\n<li>gaining knowledge on writing proposals for research grants<\/li>\n<li>widening my knowledge on climate change and related issues<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"template":"","meta":{"_relevanssi_hide_post":"","_relevanssi_hide_content":"","_relevanssi_pin_for_all":"","_relevanssi_pin_keywords":"","_relevanssi_unpin_keywords":"","_relevanssi_related_keywords":"","_relevanssi_related_include_ids":"","_relevanssi_related_exclude_ids":"","_relevanssi_related_no_append":"","_relevanssi_related_not_related":"","_relevanssi_related_posts":"","_relevanssi_noindex_reason":"","_mi_skip_tracking":false,"_exactmetrics_sitenote_active":false,"_exactmetrics_sitenote_note":"","_exactmetrics_sitenote_category":0,"_links_to":"","_links_to_target":""},"people-type":[35],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.2 -
