About<\/h3>\n

The Queen Elizabeth Scholarship-Advanced Scholars program<\/a> was implemented by Carleton University in partnership with Mzuzu University<\/a>\u00a0(Mzuzu, Malawi),\u00a0Nelson Mandela African Institute for Science and Technology<\/a>\u00a0(Arusha, Tanzania), and the\u00a0University of Ghana<\/a>\u00a0(Accra, Ghana).<\/p>\n

The program was made possible through the Canadian Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Scholarship program<\/a>\u00a0and generously funded by\u00a0Canada\u2019s International Development Research Centre<\/a>\u00a0[IDRC], the\u00a0Social Science and Humanities Research Council of Canada<\/a>\u00a0[SSHRC], and\u00a0Carleton University<\/a>. It was managed through a unique partnership of the Rideau Hall Foundation<\/a>,\u00a0Community Foundations of Canada<\/a>,\u00a0Universities Canada<\/a>, and various Canadian universities.<\/p>\n

Through the Canadian Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Scholarships program, Carleton University participated in activating a dynamic community of young global leaders around the world to create lasting impacts both at home and abroad through cross-cultural exchanges encompassing international education, discovery and inquiry, and professional experiences.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
