The goal of this project is to determine a viable solution to the resourcing of the Integrated Science Institute (ISI).
The objectives of this project are to:
- Review the resourcing structure of the ISI and propose an effective model using best practices from other interdisciplinary programs
- Increase Faculty of Science engagement towards the ISI

The goal of this project is to research best practices in engaging and retaining students in Science programs. We want to facilitate the success of students in Science by increasing their engagement with the Faculty. We anticipate that this will indirectly increase the recruitment of students into Science programs.
The objectives of this project are to:
- Increase the retention of Science students
- Identify 2-3 initiatives that can be implemented to increase the engagement of first year Science students
- Improve student life in the Faculty of Science to indirectly benefit recruitment
- Health and Counselling Services – Health and Counselling Services

The goal of this project is to improve the effectiveness and the efficiency of Health and Counselling Services’ day to day operations including resource utilization.
The objectives of this project are to review and recommend improvements with respect to:
- An appropriate organizational model that includes:
- The roles and responsibilities of Health and Counselling Services within the Carleton Community.
- A definition of Health and Counselling’s client population.
- An appropriate funding model.
- Staffing and reporting structure.
- The processes for:
- Scheduling appointments, including wait times.
- Appointment timing (e.g. 15, 30, and 60 minutes).
- Maintaining records
The team’s recommendations have been accepted by the Benchmarking Steering Committee. Health and Counselling Services is in the process of putting together an implementation plan, to carry out the recommendations.
