Thank you to everyone that made the 2018 Quality Showcase a success.
Thank you to everyone who attended the 2018 Quality Showcase on Nov. 8, and those who participated in the Poster Expo.
Special thanks to our Ravens Talk presenters Kim Hellemans and Jim Davies who shared how their Podcast – Minding the Brain was created and Journalism students Catherine Kelly and Julia Moran who shared their Stories North adventure with associate professor Kanina Holmes.
Once again this year, idea generators pitched ideas in Michel’s Den, the part of the Quality Showcase that is modelled after the CBC TV hit series, Dragon’s Den.
The four ideas pitched in the Den were:
- Wayfinding lines in the tunnels. (Pitched by: Alisdair MacRae)
- Recycle chewing gum. (Pitched by: Gavin Symonds)
- #CarletonFreeFood. (Pitched by: Erin Chezick and Tonya Davidson)
- Open Doors Carleton. (Pitched by: Craig Gauthier)
Stay tuned for updates on how the ideas progress.
Do you have an idea that could improve a process or the campus? Submit it to Ideas@Carleton. You can submit an idea anytime!
