Quality Showcase

Thank you to everyone who attended the 2017 Quality Showcase on Nov. 28, and those who participated in the Expo poster session and the Ted-talk-style Spotlight segment.

Once again this year, idea generators pitched ideas in Michel’s Den, the part of the Quality Showcase that is modelled after the CBC TV hit series, Dragon’s Den.

The four ideas pitched in the Den were:

  • Putting an illuminated Carleton University sign at the top of Dunton Tower as a means of promoting the university. (Pitched by: Daphne Uras and Jaymie Koroluk)
  • Paint the staircase Dunton Tower/each floor could customize their stairwells. (Pitched by: Petra Watzlawik Li and Maria Dabboussy)
  • Ravens insulated Poncho. (Pitched by Roz Woodland)
  • Express Coffee Station. (Pitched by Rebecca Bromwich)

Stay tuned for updates on how the ideas progress.

Do you have an idea that could improve a process or the campus? Submit it to Ideas@Carleton at: https://soapbox.carleton.ca/sign/in. You can submit an idea anytime!

Thank you,

The Office of Quality Initiatives Team
