area of the University. The Committee meets monthly to approve:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Processes and\/or policies selected for benchmarking, informed by the University\u2019s strategic plan\/goals<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Membership of the Benchmarking Team<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Resources required for Benchmarking<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Recommendations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Implementation Plans (Action plan for improving the process and\/or policy being benchmarked)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n        <\/dd>\n    <\/div>\n\n\n    <div class=\"grid pt-4 pb-3 border-b accordion border-cu-black-100 md:pt-6 Officer<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide in depth information on the current performance of the process and\/or policy, its strengths, and its weaknesses<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collect and analyze internal data<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Suggest ways to improve the performance of the process and\/or policy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Research best practices and identify potential Benchmarking Partners<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide data, measures, and statistics on the performance of the process and\/or policy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist in identifying the root cause of better performance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n        <\/dd>\n    <\/div>\n\n\n    <div class=\"grid pt-4 pb-3 border-b accordion border-cu-black-100 md:pt-6 md:pb-5 first:border-t\">\n        <dt Implementation Team, and the Benchmarking Steering Committee to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Plan and execute the benchmarking project<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Train, guide, and support the Benchmarking Team<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collect and analyze the data related to benchmarking project<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conduct surveys, interviews, focus groups, and site visits<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Research best practices<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Arrange, coordinate and work with Benchmarking Partner(s)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Work with the team and project owner to draft an implementation plan<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist the team in executing the implementation plan as needed<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitor and track the progress of the implementation plan<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Report on the progress of the implementation plan to the Organizational Excellence Steering Committee<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n        <\/dd>\n    <\/div>\n\n\n    <div class=\"grid pt-4 pb-3 border-b accordion border-cu-black-100 md:pt-6 md:pb-5 Initiatives, and outline roles and responsibilities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Present implementation plan to Organizational Excellence Steering Committee for approval to move forward<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Responsible for implementing recommended changes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Communicate with the employees and the customers who will be affected by the recommended changes made to the process and\/or policy that was benchmarked<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Educate and\/or train employees and customers on how to use and manage the recommended changes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitor and measure impact of changes to the performance of the process and\/or policy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Review periodically how employees and customers are adapting to the recommended changes made to the process and\/or policy that was benchmarked<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Report to Organizational Excellence Steering Committee semi-yearly<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Convey results to benchmarking team periodically<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Report back
