“From a\u00a0prosthetic hand<\/a>\u00a0produced on a 3D printer to a\u00a0height-adjustable moveable kitchen workspace<\/a>, Carleton students have had tremendous success over the years at the Innovative Designs for Accessibility (IDeA) competition, where students are asked to develop innovative, cost-effective and practical solutions to accessibility-related issues.\u00a0Now they\u2019ll have a chance to showcase their creativity on a larger scale as the provincial IDeA program, previously co-ordinated by the\u00a0Council of Ontario Universities<\/a>, is reborn as a national initiative managed by\u00a0Universities Canada<\/a>.”<\/p>\n
