Please note that there have been recent changes to Section 2.4 Examination Regulations of the Undergraduate Calendar and Section 9.2 Examination Regulations of the Graduate Calendar.

These changes include the following:

  • course outlines must contain information regarding term tests or examinations that are scheduled outside of regular designated class time;
  • formative tests and exams totaling no more than 15% of the final grade may now be held within the last two weeks of classes in the fall and winter terms; and,
  • take-home examinations will be formally scheduled if the take-home examination is not assigned on or before the last day of classes and due on the last day of the official examination period.

All of these changes and examination regulations are found in Section 2.4 of the Undergraduate Calendar and Section 9.2 of the Graduate Calendar. Students writing tests and examinations should be aware of all the rules governing examination conduct.

If you have any questions or concerns in regards to regulations outlined in Section 2.4 of the Undergraduate Calendar or Section 9.2 of the Graduate Calendar, please direct your inquiries to your course instructor.
