Maintaining Addresses and Phone Numbers in Carleton Central:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

View\/Update Address(es) and Phone(s) consists of two separate pages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first page displays all of your current and future addresses along with the associated phone number information. Addresses will be grouped according to Address Type (Permanent, Mailing, Business). Choice of address type is extremely important as it affects how the university corresponds with you. An explanation of each address type is outlined below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The second page allows you to update or add address information. Choice of address type is extremely important as it affects how the university corresponds with you. An explanation of each address type is outlined below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Note:\u00a0Always provide us with a Permanent Address.\u00a0Only\u00a0use a Mailing Address if you want your mail to go to a\u00a0different\u00a0address than your Permanent one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To UPDATE\/CHANGE an existing address:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
    \n
  1. Select the address you wish to update by clicking on the link next to the address (this link usually says ‘Current’). This will bring you into the Update\/Insert Address page.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. To update the address, edit the fields you wish to change and press Submit.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
      \n
    • When entering International phone numbers (outside of North America), please enter the full number in the\u00a0International Access Codes\u00a0field. For North American phone numbers, separate the area code, phone number and extension into the corresponding fields.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Future addresses cannot come into effect more than 18 months from today’s date.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      To DELETE an address:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
        \n
      1. Select the address you wish to update by clicking on the link next to the corresponding address (the link usually says ‘Current’). This will bring you to the\u00a0Update\/Insert Address\u00a0page.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. Check the\u00a0Delete this Address\u00a0box and select\u00a0Submit.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        To INSERT a new address(use only if the address type you wish to update has not been created):<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
          \n
        1. Select an address type from the pull-down menu at the bottom of the\u00a0Update Address(es) and Phone(s)\u00a0page and click\u00a0Submit.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
        2. Enter the full address and phone information on the Update\/Insert Address page and press Submit when complete.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
