Be sure to <a href=\"https:\/\/englishfrench.ca\/sessions\/explore-sessions\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">choose an eligible school from the list<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Credit will only be considered when you complete the course(s) and submit the course outline(s) along with an Official Transcript confirming successful completion of the course(s) to the Registrar\u2019s Office. These items must be submitted by September 30th of the year that the Summer Explore Program is completed. The fee for a Letter of Permission will be added to your student account when the Application is submitted.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The content of the course will then be assessed to determine what, if any, credit is appropriate and whether the course can be used towards your degree. Please note that if the course is assessed as being equivalent to a lower level course, or a language course(s) previously taken at Carleton (or at another institution), credit will not be transferred.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To be eligible for credit through a Letter of Permission, students must <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/registrar\/letter-of-permission\/guide\/\" type=\"page\" id=\"956\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">meet the requirements outlined in the Letter of Permission Guide<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you do not meet the requirements for a Letter of Permission, you can still participate in the Explore Program, however, your courses will not be considered for transfer credit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Receiving Credit at Carleton University Students who participate in the Council of Ministers of Education, Canada Explore program may be able to earn credit toward their Carleton University degree upon successful completion of the Explore Program.
