This checklist will help you get ready. You can find the nine-digit number beginning with \u201c100\u201d or \u201c101\u201d in your admission package, which was emailed to you by Admissions Services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before registration begins,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/its\/help-centre\/set-up-your-mycarletonone-account-for-the-first-time\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">set up your MyCarletonOne account<\/a>. This will give you access to all of Carleton\u2019s IT services and applications, including your Carleton email.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Submit your Social Insurance Number (SIN). The Canada Revenue Agency requires Carleton University to report all eligible tuition fees. To prepare your T4A and\/or T2202 tax slips, your SIN is required. You will also find a number of \u201cHow-To\u201d videos throughout the site to help you with your registration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/registration\/course-selection-guide\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">first year course selection guide<\/a>&nbsp;is tailored to each specific degree program. It lists all the courses you need to take in your first year and gives you the basics about your program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Build your timetable. Planning your course selection is an important step required to ensure a successful registration. The timetable tool will allow you to search the class schedule, add and remove courses, and resolve conflicts prior to registration. If you require an official\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/registrar\/student-documents\/voss\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Verification of Student Status (VOSS)<\/a>\u00a0in order to access your RESP funds, you can <a href=\"https:\/\/360.carleton.ca\/urd\/sits.urd\/run\/siw_lgn\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">request the letter through\u00a0Carleton Central<\/a>\u00a0by selecting \u2018Request a Transcript\/Certificate of Enrolment\/Verification of Student Status\u2019 from the main menu.
