Building Your Timetable<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Visit this step once the class schedule has been released. Here you can plan which courses you want to take for the upcoming academic session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/a>Quick Guide<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  1. Log in to\u00a0Carleton Central<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Click on \u201cBuild Your Timetable\/Registration\u201d under the \u201cRegistration\u201d section. Choose the term appropriate to you. You will be brought to the class search page where you can enter the fields you wish to search. Remember that registration for the fall and winter terms must be completed separately.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Narrow your search results with the \u201cSearch Criteria\u201d feature. View the \u201cSearch Criteria\u201d section on this page for detailed descriptions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Once you have completed your search you will arrive on the \u201cSearch Results\u201d page and see classes that matched your criteria.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Check the boxes next to classes you wish to register in. Be aware of restrictions and prerequisites. Click \u201cProceed to Worksheet\u201d when you are ready.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Review your worksheet. Fix any scheduling conflicts that arise. It is recommended that you make multiple worksheets to accommodate for alternative scenarios (i.e. full classes or sections). Save your worksheets.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. When your time-ticket<\/a> is about to start, double check your course selections to ensure that there are no new warnings. Click on \u201cProceed to Registration\u201d when your time-ticket has opened and you are ready.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
