We asked Megan Currie, creative director of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.x-ingdesign.ca\/about\">X-ing Design<\/a> in Regina Saskatchewan, to work with us to design a symbol to represent who we are and what we\u2019re about, in a clean modern style, inclusive of all First Nations across Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>RFNG is a national alliance of First Nation communities and Tribal Councils, academic researchers, and public service practitioners. It was created to support First Nations leaders and rights holders \u2013 through research and shared learning &#8211; to implement their inherent right to self-government by transitioning themselves out from under more than 150 years of colonial administration.&nbsp; The six-year project is supported by a SSHRC partnership grant and is housed at Centre for Community Innovation at Carleton University (3ci).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can read more about the logo\u2019s symbolism <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/rfng\/our-logo\/\"><strong>here<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; September 2021 &#8212; Rebuilding First Nations Governance (RFNG) is pleased to launch its stunning new logo created by X-ing Design.
