See below for further details about what it looks like being a student in the lab and how to get in contact if you are interested in becoming a future student\/member of the Rogers Child Mental Health Labs.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">The supervision style of student theses in the Rogers Child Mental Health Labs typically consists of Dr. Rogers directly supervising graduate students and Dr. Rogers collaborating with graduate students to co-supervise undergraduate students. Please assure this supervision style aligns with your strengths and needs when considering becoming a part of our team.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">As a member of the Rogers Child Mental Health Labs, students attend bi-weekly lab meetings. These lab meetings involve students presenting about their current research endeavours (i.e, theses), workshops on scholarship application writing and efficient manuscript writing, writing retreats, etc. Students will also meet with Dr. Rogers (and\/or their co-supervising graduate student, if applicable) for regularly, agreed upon meetings.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">If you are prospective student (undergraduate or graduate) or volunteer looking to join our lab, please take 5-10 minutes to fill out this <a href=\"https:\/\/carletonu.az1.qualtrics.com\/jfe\/form\/SV_6xohOO4hOKuxHUy\">survey<\/a> to confirm your interest in our lab.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Please note that Dr. Rogers is currently on sabbatical and will be accepting new students for the 2026\/2027 school year.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dr. Rogers has a passion for mentoring and advising students who have similar research interests.
