In collaboration with the National Research Council Canada, he is investigating the effects of spectral shape and ground motion selection on the seismic performance of buildings in Canada. Mohammadreza completed his PhD in 2025 in our research group on the same topic, and his thesis has been nominated for a medal in recognition of his outstanding contributions.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to joining our group, he obtained his Master\u2019s degree in Earthquake Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology, Iran, and his Bachelor\u2019s degree in Civil Engineering from Shahid Beheshti University.
