If you are interested please see the contact information below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Study Overview: <\/strong>The study is called: <em>Staying Alert in Autopilot: The Effects of Trust in Automation and Attentional Capacity on Situation Awareness in Senior Drivers<\/em>. In this study, participants will complete short driving scenarios (5-10 mins each) in a simulator while wearing an EEG headset.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are looking for senior drivers to participate in two sessions of 2 hours each, for a total time commitment of 4 hours. Participants will receive a $20 GoGift gift card at the end of each session ($40 total) and will be provided with free parking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Eligibility Criteria:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Aged 55 or older<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Normal or corrected-to-normal vision and hearing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Valid driver\u2019s license<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This research will help us understand how trust in automated driving systems and attentional capacity influence senior drivers&#8217; ability to stay aware of their surroundings, which is crucial for safe driving.
