He currently serves as <strong>Chief Clinical Engineering Officer and Regional Director at the Children\u2019s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO)<\/strong>, where he oversees clinical engineering strategy, medical technology governance, digital health innovation, and system-wide biomedical operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Ngoie holds concurrent academic appointments as <strong>Adjunct Research Professor of Biomedical Engineering at Carleton University<\/strong>, <strong>Honorary Associate Professor at the University of Dundee<\/strong>, and <strong>Assistant Professor of Robotics &amp; Automation at the University of Greenwich<\/strong>. He teaches and develops modules in clinical engineering, medical technology management, neonatal and anaesthesia equipment, and quality management systems. He is also <strong>the lead instructor <\/strong>for <strong>SYSC4202 &amp; BIOM5406 (Clinical Engineering)<\/strong> a combined module between Carleton University and University of Ottawa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A Chartered Engineer (CEng, UK) and Fellow of the Canadian Medical and Biological Engineering Society (CMBES), Dr. Ngoie is widely respected for his contributions to medical device safety, integrated patient monitoring, large scale implementation of medical technology in the healthcare settings, global health engineering, and health-technology policy. He has designed and implemented major clinical engineering frameworks, including the redesign of <strong>NHS Tayside\u2019s Medical Device Policy<\/strong>, and co-founded the <strong>Centre for Medical Engineering &amp;
