The hub advances the development of sophisticated sensor systems that address mobility and memory challenges among older people.&nbsp;The initiative is led by SCE faculty members and researchers (<a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/sce\/people\/knoefel\/\">Frank Knoefel<\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/sce\/people\/goubran\/\">Rafik Goubran<\/a>, and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/sce\/people\/wallace\/\">Bruce Wallace<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The<em> Sensors and Analytics for Monitoring Mobility and Memory (SAM<sup>3<\/sup>)<\/em> hub focusses on smart technologies that monitor seniors\u2019 health and well-being\u2015to keep them as healthy, safe and independent as possible.
