Rawan&#8217;s research focuses on personalized AI in communications networks and has been supervised by <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/sce\/people\/yanikomeroglu\/\">Chancellor&#8217;s Professor Halim Yanikomeroglu<\/a>, along with co-supervision from esteemed data scientist <a href=\"https:\/\/www.researchgate.net\/profile\/Ibrahim-Abualhaol\">Ibrahim AbuAlhaol<\/a> (Adjunct Research Professor).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rawan&#8217;s career has been filled with remarkable accomplishments, including the prestigious Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarship, valued at $150,000, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/\">Carleton University<\/a> Senate Medal for Outstanding Academic Achievement. These accolades reflect her dedication and excellence in her academic pursuits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2020, Rawan published two notable papers that capture her patented invention: <a href=\"https:\/\/ieeexplore.ieee.org\/document\/9159116\">Personalized Resource Allocation in Wireless Networks: An AI-Enabled and Big Data-Driven Multi-Objective Optimization<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/ieeexplore.ieee.org\/document\/9040257\">Big-Data-Driven and AI-Based Framework to Enable Personalization in Wireless Networks<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This patent marks the <a href=\"https:\/\/lnkd.in\/eGfZsJiX\">40th granted<\/a> patent for the Chancellor, with many more in progress.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Congratulations!
