The scholarship underscores MROO\u2019s commitment to enhancing the quality of life for seniors and aligns with its mission to advocate for and support this demographic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In its second year, the Targeted Scholarship has been awarded to Phillippe Forster, a graduate student at Carleton University. Phillippe, hailing from Gatineau, Quebec, is in his first year of a Master of Applied Science in Computer Engineering. His thesis focuses on developing advanced at-home patient monitoring systems. These systems aim to reduce the need for hospital visits by monitoring vital health indicators such as ECG activity, blood pressure, blood oxygen saturation, and stethoscope measurements.
