12 Weeks to a Journal Article

This workshop is aimed at faculty who have a goal of revising and resubmitting a journal article within 12 weeks. Based on the book by Wendy Laura Belcher, each week participants meet to discuss progress, common challenges and tips and tricks to successful publishing.
This workshop takes place every Wednesday from 12:00pm to 1:00pm from Jan. 13th to April 14th (no session over winter break). Participants who would like a shared, quiet writing space are welcome to join the silent zoom writing cafe, which take place from 2-4pm every Wednesday during the same period.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the 12 weeks, participants will:
- have revised and resubmitted a journal article
- gain valuable experience and tools for managing and finding time to write about their research
- make connections with other faculty members who are facing similar challenges
