The Centre for Vision Research (CVR) at York University in Toronto, Canada offers a one-week, *most-expenses-paid undergraduate summer school on vision science.  This year’s program will be held June 8th – 12th, 2020.

The program includes talks by CVR faculty members on current research topics in vision science, as well as hands-on experiences in CVR laboratories. Our centre is interdisciplinary in nature and we have faculty from psychology, neuroscience, cognitive sciences, kinesiology, engineering, computer science, physics, philosophy, and fine arts. The curriculum reflects the wide range of research areas at CVR, which includes research on human visual perception, computer vision, machine learning, visual neuroscience, 3D film, immersive environments, and visual disorders.

The program is intended mainly for undergraduate students who are thinking about applying to graduate school in the fall of 2020 or 2021 (for entry in fall 2021 or 2022), and who are interested in investigating vision science as an area of research. Citizens of all countries are eligible.
