Global Open Finance Challenge Deadline

Our team at CIBC has partnered with NatWest Group in the UK, National Australia Bank, Itaú from Brazil and Amazon Web Services to create a first of its kind global event – the Global Open Finance Challenge.
We are seeking innovative ideas from around the world, that will help create and build solutions in the shared sandbox environment that we have built. Here are a few details:
- Why? We are collaborating to create a connected global ecosystem. This sandbox environment gives participants the opportunity to test their solutions to some with some of the largest financial and technology institutions in the world.
- What is it? Global Open Finance Challenge invites participants to collaborate and create solutions in a shared sandbox environment, using shared APIs. The banks have identified 3 challenge statements for participants to apply their solution to around experience, convenience and sustainability.
- How? Teams can apply for challenge here, until September 26th, 2021. The challenge itself will start in October, with the grand finale pitches to the bank CEOs and CTO of Amazon on November 16th at 4pm EST.
Effectively this event will provide all participants with:
- An accelerated path to partnerships with any of the major banks (4 bank CEOS will be judging the finale, along with other bank executives leading up to finale)
- Instant global exposure
- Chance to network and build relationships with key executives and decision makers among multiple major organizations
