On November 26 and 27, 60 young and enthusiastic achievers, problem solvers, creative thinkers, change makers and technologists from Carleton University and Algonquin College will gather in the Resource Centre of the Canadian Museum of History to bring digital technology solutions to challenges faced by the Museums.

The Museum VX Hackathon is taking place at the Canadian Museum of History (100 Laurier Street Gatineau, Quebec K1A 0M8) on Nov 26-27.

The event begins at 9am on Saturday the 26th and ends at 9pm that day. Participants are free to come as they please. On Sunday, doors open at 9am and the closing remarks and announcement of the winners should be finished between 7pm and 8pm at the latest. The hackathon is free and food and beverages will be served. In order to register, students need to “book their spot” using the orange button on the website. A maximum of 60 students can attend.
