One Health Challenge Classroom Deadline

January 20, 2021

The CHAIM Centre is hosting the 4th annual One HEALtH Student Challenge, open to Carleton undergraduate students 2nd year and up! This year’s challenge will be fully virtual to comply with COVID-19 restrictions. Students will be collaborating in interdisciplinary teams to design an intervention (an application, program, tool, product, or strategy) that brings together young and older adults in a manner that is mutually beneficial, sustainable, and appropriate under the restrictions that exist to minimize the spread of viruses such as COVID-19.

This is a great opportunity to apply knowledge learned in class to a real-world problem, meet new people, and collaborate with students in other disciplines!

After six weeks, students will present their strategy to a panel of judges who will choose a winning team. Members of the winning team will have their intervention featured on the CHAIM Centre website and receive a cash prize of $100 each.

The deadline to apply is Wednesday January 20th, 2021.
