Good afternoon,

We wanted to take a moment to share the details of an upcoming event – the STAR Symposium! In affiliation with the STAR (Stress Trauma and Resilience) working group, the CHAIM Centre is pleased to be hosting its inaugural in-person symposium on Friday, May 27th! This event will bring together academics from a range of disciplines to address topics in climate change and health.

We are pleased to have Andre Picard, Staff Columnist at The Globe and Mail, as our keynote speaker for the event. The full event program is now finalized and the committee is accepting abstracts to be included in our Symposium Poster Competition. The deadline for submission is Monday, May 16th. If you are interested, we welcome you to submit your presentation again for this event. There will be an exciting giveaway and an opportunity for the top five abstracts submitted to be published in the Health Promotion and Chronic Disease Prevention in Canada Journal.

If you are interested, we invite you to submit a your presentation here.
