Do you need help with your COMP-course, lab tutorial, Windows account, Open Stack or Linux?

For course material related problems, contact the following individuals in this order:

  1. See your Course Teaching Assistant (TA) during their office hours
  2. Contact your Course Lab Coordinator (if told to do so by a TA)
  3. Contact your Course Instructor (If told to do so by a Lab Coordinator)

For technical issues, contact the following individuals in this order:

  1. See your Course Teaching Assistant (TA) during their office hours
  2. Contact your Course Lab Coordinator (if told to do so by a TA)
  3. Contact the SCS Technical Staff (If told to do so by a Lab Coordinator)

There is more help if you need it. The Carleton Computer Science Society (CCSS) are a great resource for many common issues that you have. The Administrative staff can assist with you with many aspects of the Computer Science Program:

Course TA’s

Course TA’s can answer most questions concerning your course:

  • Answer academic questions
  • Assist with the course software
  • Get you started with accounts and account creation

Lab Coordinators

Your Lab Coordinators can help you with:

  • Lab Tutorials
  • Assist with creating lab accounts

SCS Technical Staff

The SCS Technical Staff can help with general technical issues related to the use of school technical facilities. If you need support related to course-specific technical issues, then you should follow the procedures above. A Course Lab Coordinator will send you to the Technical Staff if required.
