Jointly hosted by the Faculty of Science and the\u00a0Carleton University Institute for Data Science (CUIDS),<\/a>\u00a0Data Day is an annual conference that celebrates the latest developments in data science and analytics research.<\/p>\n

Data Day 12.0 will take place on\u00a0Tuesday, March 31, 2026<\/strong>\u00a0in Carleton\u2019s Richcraft Hall Atrium. A full schedule of events will be posted closer to the event date.<\/p>\n

Data Day includes panel discussions by Carleton researchers and industry experts, networking opportunities, and a poster showcase to display student research in data science across all disciplines.<\/p>\n

The theme of Data Day 12.0 is\u00a0Now What? Leading, Working, and Learning When AI Does the Work<\/em>. This is a must-attend event for those studying or working in data science, analytics, and related fields!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Each year, students from data science courses and other science disciplines bring their research to life at\u00a0Data Day\u00a0through the\u00a0Student Poster Showcase<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This year, 24 students who submit their poster abstracts by\u00a0March 4, 2026<\/strong>\u00a0will be selected to participate. Don\u2019t miss your chance to\u00a0share your work with the community\u00a0\u2013 submit your abstract today!<\/p>\n\n
