For over a decade, Carleton University has been stewarding a significant collection of vintage computing equipment, gathered from across campus and through the generosity of local computer enthusiasts. Contributions have\u00a0also\u00a0come from the School of Computer Science, the Sprott School of Business, Carleton University Library, the Faculty of Engineering and Design, and Information Technology Services (ITS).\u00a0We are pleased to now\u00a0have the opportunity to\u00a0officially launch the display of approximately 90 historic computers in our newly renovated Tutorial Lab HP4155.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

On Friday, March 27, 2026, from 2:00\u20135:00 pm, we will host an Open House in the lab to\u00a0showcase:<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Our newly renovated Tutorial Laboratory, a dedicated space designed to support the teaching and learning of Computer Science.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. The official launch of the Carleton University vintage computer collection display.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Come and join us for tea, coffee, snacks, good company and of course microcomputers!\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n
