In this talk, we will present the research we have performed on applications of machine learning (ML) techniques to Systems and Software Engineering, Cloud Computing, and Network Traffic Data. The current research on ML to 5G networks will be highlighted.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Speakers:<\/strong> Dr. Samuel Ajila and Dr. Chung-Horng Lung<\/p>\n<p><strong>Biographies:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Samuel A. Ajila is currently an Associate Professor of Engineering at the Department of Systems and Computer Engineering, Carleton University, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. He received B.Sc. (Hons.) degree in Computer Science from University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria and M.Sc., DEA, and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Engineering specializing in Software Engineering and Knowledge-based Systems from LORIA, Universit\u00e9 Henri Poincar\u00e9 \u2013 Nancy I, Nancy, France. His research interests are in the fields of Software Engineering, Cloud Computing, Big Data Analytics and Technology Management.<\/p>\n<p>Chung-Horng Lung was with Nortel Networks from 1995 to 2001. In September 2001, he joined the Department of Systems and Computer Engineering, Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada, where he is now a Professor.
