    <\/a>OCICS Timetable<\/h2>\n

    As part of your program requirements, you must complete course work that includes a minimum of 1.5 credits of OCICS courses in three different research areas. The OCICS course listing by research areas can be found on the OCICS timetable. Make sure that you select the proper year and term to ensure you are looking at the correct term.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

    <\/a>Registration<\/h2>\n

    Before you register<\/h3>\n

    Course registration is done online through Carleton Central<\/a>. \u00a0It is your one-stop service for registration, student records, admission, and fee information.<\/p>\n

    Refer to the Registrar\u2019s Office website<\/a> for how-to videos to assist you in navigating the Carleton Central registration system. You can view the registration open and deadline dates on the Registration Dates and Deadlines webpage<\/a>.<\/p>\n

    After You Register<\/h3>\n

    Pay your tuition by the payment deadline each term to avoid penalties or late fees. The Student Accounts office has information on how to make a payment<\/a>.<\/p>\n

    <\/a>Co-op<\/h2>\n

    Co-operative Education combines traditional, in-class education with hands-on experience. Co-op work terms allow for the development of key employability skills, exploration of career options and graduation with tangible, workplace experience\u2014giving you a competitive edge in the job market after graduation.<\/p>\n\n

    <\/a>Awards and Funding<\/h2>\n

    Carleton offers a variety of funding opportunities to our students. New and current students can apply for several internal, external and special awards. Application deadlines vary. Students should consult the specifics of the awards to understand the eligibility requirements, application materials, and necessary internal deadlines.     <\/a>TA Information<\/h2>\n

    A teaching assistant (TA) assists course instructors with various duties which may include conducting labs or study groups, assisting with lecture preparation, and marking assignments and tests. Priority TAs receive a TA award as part of their funding package at the time of application. If you do not receive a TA award with your admission package, you may still apply as an Outside Priority TA through Carleton Central.<\/p>\n\n
