Follow these instructions to submit your Honours Project\/Thesis:<\/p>\n

  1. Click on this link<\/a>\u00a0to go to the web application that will allow you to upload your Honours Project\/Thesis.<\/li>\n
  2. Login<\/strong> to the system using your CMAIL email address. Ex: FirstnameLastname@cmail.carleton.ca. You will receive a login link to your email address.<\/li>\n
  3. If you have submitted your proposal(s) you will see a Submit Final Project<\/strong> or a Submit Final Thesis<\/strong> button in your account page. Click that button.<\/li>\n
  4. Complete the form. Make sure to select your supervisor from the drop-down Faculty <\/strong>list. If your primary supervisor is not listed, send us an email (honours_repository@scs.carleton.ca). If your second supervisor is not listed select Other,<\/strong> and then enter their name in the Second-Supervisor<\/strong> text field. Also, make sure to select the correct Term<\/strong> and Year<\/strong>, otherwise, your project will not appear in the proper location. For the Honours Project Title<\/strong> field,<\/strong> set it to the actual title of your project report. Fill in the Abstract,<\/strong> which should be a textual description of what your project was all about. It should be at least three sentences long but more likely a short paragraph in length. If you are worried about the confidential nature of the work, you may keep this abstract more general and leave out the specific details. You also MUST submit two<\/span> Project Files.<\/strong>\u00a0The first file MUST be your honours project report in PDF<\/strong> format. The second file MUST be a single .ZIP<\/strong> file that contains your source code, executables, data files, images, testing files, etc. (This MUST not be a tar, rar, gzip, 7z, etc.). Make sure that your report PDF file is separate from the ZIP file. Your files should be submitted one at a time by using the Browse…<\/strong> and Upload<\/strong> buttons. You must also submit a decent quality (e.g., 640×480) Cover Image<\/strong> file (i.e., .png<\/strong>, .jpg<\/strong> or .gif<\/strong>) which is a non-copyrighted<\/strong> image that represents what you did for your project\/thesis. Choose a nice non-copyrighted<\/strong> image that will be visually appealing<\/span> to those who are browsing the Honours Project\/Thesis listing (i.e., It should be some kind of picture, screen snapshot or diagram, not just text). Finally, if you want, you should include an Upload description <\/strong>as a text file inside your project Zip file, this will be a text file that describes the files that you have submitted. Specifically, you may want to indicate what is in the zip file as a guide for your supervisor to make sense of everything that you submitted.<\/li>\n
  5. Click the Submit<\/strong> button.<\/li>\n
  6. Logout<\/strong> via the link at the bottom of the webpage’s menu bar.<\/li>\n
