It is expected to be resolved in a future VirtualBox installer updates<\/em><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/scs\/2023\/virtualbox-3d-acceleration-issue\/\">VirtualBox 3D Acceleration Issue<\/a><br \/>\n<em>This issue often appears with a new VirtualBox version, and affects Virtual Machines created on older versions. Systems may have poor performance, crashing, or even fail to boot.<\/em><br \/>\n<span style=\"color:red\"><em>This issue has been documented by some users of VirtualBox 7.0 when running older Virtual Machines<\/em><\/span><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/scs\/2019\/virtualbox-virtualization-error-intel-vt-d-vt-x-or-amd-v\/\">Virtualization Error (Intel VT-d\/VT-x or AMD-V)<\/a><br \/>\n<em>This issue can appear with different error messages when trying to install or run a <strong>hypervisor<\/strong> or could contribute to poor system performance.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/scs\/2021\/install-virtualbox\/\">VirtualBox: <strong>Extension Pack Missing<\/strong> Error<\/a><br \/>\n<em>If you receive this error or your system is running sluggishly, the extension pack may not be installed. Follow the instructions in this article to install the extension pack<\/em><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/scs\/2019\/virtualbox-graphics-controller-vmsvga-settings\/\">VirtualBox: Graphics Controller (<strong>VMSVGA<\/strong>) Settings<\/a><br \/>\n<em>For best performance with VirtualBox, you should enable the <strong>VMSVGA<\/strong> graphics controller<\/em><br \/>\n<em><strong>NOTE:<\/strong> Sometimes your graphics controller can contribute to crashing, boot errors, or very poor performance.
