The federal government\u2019s Innovation, Science and Economic Development department is seeking energetic students and recent graduates studying data science, computer science, science, economics, statistics, and\/or other related fields.\u00a0 Successful candidates will support the work the Government is doing to grow innovation in Canada by developing new data sources and enhancing the analysis, use and communication of existing data products.\u00a0 Developing captivating data visualizations and displays to communicate innovation outcomes to Canadians will be an important part of this work.\u00a0 Successful candidates will collaborate with a growing data analyst community across the department to leverage the newly constructed Hadoop environment to link open data and internal government big data sets to enhance analytical capacity.<\/span><\/p>\n
