The admin or tech staff can grant room or lab access to your card. Your access includes after hours building access to Herzberg:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/scs\/tech-support\/it-help-and-services\/staff-services\/lab-and-building-access-cbord\/\">Lab and building access &#8211; CBORD<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Aliases<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>you will be added to a number of ITS alias lists (@carleton.ca)<\/li>\n<li>you will be added to any applicable SCS aliases (@scs.carleton.ca)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>SCS Services<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/scs\/tech-support\/it-help-and-services\/instructor-services\/\">Instructor Services<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/scs\/tech-support\/it-help-and-services\/researcher-services\/\">Researcher Services<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3>Offices<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Offices have wired connections: they are either on the ITS (CNSP) or on the SCS (TLSP) network. There should be at least one DHCP ethernet connection available per office or lab.<\/li>\n<li>you should have a telephone and extension number<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>SCS Website<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>you will have an SCS web profile that will be added by an SCS staff member. We will make arrangements with you to have your photo taken.<\/li>\n<li>faculty have research information that is added in various places.
