You should have your Windows firewall turned on.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/en-us\/help\/4028544\/windows-10-turn-microsoft-defender-firewall-on-or-off\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">How to turn on Microsoft Defender Firewall<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3><a id=\"backuprestore\"><\/a>Windows 10 backup and restore<\/h3>\n<p>Windows 10 has an automatic tool to make a copy of everything on your computer, including operating system files, settings, apps, and all your files stored in the primary drive, as well as those files stored in different locations. Then when there is a system failure and a critical error prevents your laptop from starting, you can use the\u00a0&#8220;Backup and Restore&#8221; feature to recover individual files or the entire system as necessary.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/en-us\/help\/4027408\/windows-10-backup-and-restore\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Backup and restore in Windows 10<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<h3><a id=\"backups\"><\/a>Backing up Files<\/h3>\n<p>You may want to backup user files more frequently than system files.
