The student would conduct a short-term (1-4 weeks) research<br>\ninternship at Universidad de Valparaiso, working on the following project:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Project Title<\/strong>: Simulating Belbin roles in work teams with Stochastic Petri Nets.<br>\n<strong>Name of supervising professor<\/strong>: Alonso Inostrosa-Psijas<br>\n<strong>Discipline<\/strong>: Computer Science.<br>\n<strong>Period in which internship can take place<\/strong>: February 27th, 2023 to December 31st, 2023<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Eligibility<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Undergraduate student at Carleton, must be a student while on the internship<br>\n\u2022 3rd-year standing from computer science or related field.<br>\n\u2022 Canadian citizen or permanent resident<br>\n\u2022 At least 18 years of age<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Value of award: $4000, with an additional $1000 for students with disabilities, indigenous students, or<br>\nlow-income students<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This funding opportunity is offered under the International Research Mobility Experience (IRME), as part<br>\nof the Global Skills Opportunity initiative by the Government of Canada to promote and reduce barriers<br>\nto outbound mobility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students interested in applying are asked to complete this online form by November 30, 2023.
