Our group focuses on the intersection of finance and technology, specifically in the areas of Quantitative Risk Management, Fintech, and Insurtech.<\/p>\n<p>The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge research projects and gain valuable hands-on experience in the field. The student will be expected to have strong programming skills in at least one programming language. Knowledge in machine learning\/deep learning\/NLP\/data analytics skills and a strong interest in finance\/insurance will be helpful.<\/p>\n<p>Students can apply for the Undergraduate Student Research Awards (USRA) program and work full-time (can be replaced as a co-op term).
